Lake Conditions...MUDDY??

Posted this about a month ago....

Been watching sat pic since Nov and all I see is MUD MUD and more MUD in Erie. Since we had to abort our 7th annual smallmouth trip in April to Erie last year due to MUD, plan to use sat pic to better time our 2012 trip..Sat pics looks very muddy out maybe 4 or 5 miles from shore.....

got a good sat pic today and looks like MUD continues...anybody been on the main lake that can comment on how muddy it is??...thanks.

one would think with the increased sedimentation the lake would warm up fast, fresh nutrients would feed algae bloom which would feed forage which would decrease the catch rate based on the overabundance of forage and if the sediment is extreme when it settles out could smother eggs and fry causing a catastrophic loss of forage fry and gamefish, resulting in another pa. lake called "the dead sea"
    who knows?
