3-8 report

Slow day on river. Fished various locations only 1 small Dimebright steelhead landed by me. The few others around we're reporting same results. Snowing pretty good at the moment. Hoping for a better day tomorrow and possibly meet up with Clint S.

    It was so nice I had to get out today on a local stream.Only brought two small rainbows to hand but had a couple others on and a bunch of short hits that I did n't hook.Only fished a couple hours in the afternoon then the storm clouds gathered and I called it a day.

    Glad you had such a good day . Weather was not that great here yesterday and a inch of snow with colder temp now. Oh well that's steelheading

    Tuna, that dimebright is a good sign for this spring. Its good to know there are new fish. Thanks for the report. I hope we pick up some decent snow today and tomorrow. Any additional at this point will help water levels for the later spawners. Looking forward to your next report....

    Jack, kudos to you for getting those bows. It was rather beautiful yesterday...ice on the truck this morning though

    Just looked at the weather in Pooookaski,snow and cold......the frozen chosen should be smiling :)

    Yeah jack, its definitely some odd weather... somethings telling me the mid march funk is upon the river (maybe a week early??)... just an assumption though. Hopefully the tuna crew will prove it wrong with todays report

    Weather was much better as was the fishing. Great pleasure to fish with Clint.
    Report later when we return but I'd say we chased all the cookies away :)
    Be ready to get your guesstimates going. Lol

    Tuna, always great to read your reports. Thanks,hopefully pix to follow? When I'm not fishing I find some peace in seeing and hearing how others are doing. Beat up from work but "One more Saturday night" coming so I'll be feeling better tomorrow.
