Project Healing Waters Update

Its been a while since I updated the board about the Project....

We are having our first meeting next Monday at the VA Hospital to gauge participation .. We also have gotten some nice toys for them to play with....

We have 5 Complete TFO Outfits

9 Foot 5 Wt 4 PC Rods
NXT Series 1 Reels spooled with WF Lines
Complete with travel cases

We also came up with 5 Limited Edition PHWFF Regal Vises and 2 Tool kits so these guys have some good equipment to tie on.

This project couldn't have come to fruition if it weren't for the support we get from this board and for that I thank everyone of you..

I have gotten a few PM's asking what we need for the Program and one thing that keeps coming up is Hooks.... We will always have the need for fly tying hooks for these guys to tie on....

Thanks again for the support

Our first session went well.... We started them out with Wooly Buggers.... Some got it real fast and all ended up with some nice flys ..... Huge Thanks to Dano, Dave K, Gary K and Mo for helping out.... I stuck around for a bit after and everyone said they had a blast and are looking forward to the next time.. I'm going to try and have a few more vises there next time...... Thanks again guys The help is appreciated... We need to think about what we want to do next time.... We are scheduled for April 4th at 10 AM...... I'm going to talk to a few other people at the VA And try to get some evening sessions too...
