bay perch.
are there any perch being caught from the bay being that its not froze. im not asking for spots, i just want to know if any are being caught. from shore that is.

Just move around, not secrets..like some have said fish marinas. Don't buy bait drop net will get easy bait

i know all the spots fish. i was just wondering if they where being caught. i never fish for them this time of the year except for through the ice a couple times.

there are lots of perch being caught in the bay- the marina on penninsula, liberty, the head, the piers, and off intermodel and even by sheronton and in front of rumrunners- i say buy a net for 12 bucks and catch bait- good luck- i saw limits being caught in 1 and a half to two hrs before dark 4 days ago and jumbos too

No but when one spot turns into a zoo that's when it gets out of hand. But agreed crappies turning on now I am pumped! Got a limit of perch and a handful of decent crappies today

I like the way you think BloodyHand. Not to mention with the light pressure the Perch have had all winter, they have to be more plentiful than usual. I can't wait to get after them.
Believe it or not I have never targeted Crappie. I'll have to give it a shot.
