Lake Somerset

I see where they are going to lower Somerset Lake by 3 or 4 feet.  Something with the spillway.  Does anyone know what's going on there?

Dam is deemed "Hazardous" and lacks funding for repair and go from there. IMHO better enjoy it this year cause it's probably it's last.

They did lower it a few years ago for weed control but opened up alot of shore and you could pretty well fish anywhere from the bank as long as it kept dry, launching a boat was a major pain in the****unless you had a canoe or smaller.

    Thanks
Looks like they only need 4.7 million to fix it up.  That's a shame.  Lake Somerset is close for me and I like to fish it a lot.
