Montour creek outflow

In the summer I've fished the sandbar where Montour Creek goes into the Ohio.  Can you catch anything there during winter?

    I've never run into trouble there. On the other hand, that area definetely gives off a bad vibe.

    So Carpin, you say walleye. Is it better in the main river or the slack water around the sandbar?

    hasn't been the same since the pipe got filled in a few hurricanes ago...never had any issues with crime down there...it is kinda no mans land though where if something happened your crap outta luck
