    For the record guys;

    This is the time of year I start craving some open water fishing. Im starting to get the itch. I gotta hide the credit card or i start buying unneeded gear to get my fix.

    I have seen it before , almost came to blows about it too. If I knew exactly what they were sayin I might not have walked away. I was the bigger man and walked away. I figured a few stoopid fish was not worth jail time for drounding some non English speaking anglers.

    Ya, i would def struggle with that too. Im not sure i could i of keep my cool. At least take your limit home with you and harvest the eggs then. If i saw someone gutting fish creek side for eggs and dumping them, i dont think i could contain myself.
    I give you alot of credit for keeping cool though.....

    What are you "waiting" for eye? Opportunitiesc are out there now. I enjoyed two hours today landing 3 of 4 Walleye, and a bigfaced bass, and a few misses. All less the ten minutes from my house.

    Chucker, sounds like a pretty good day for this time of year.
    Well i guess its because i got the boat put away, maybe i should do some fishing from shore. The only shore fishing that is aviable close to my house is the pittsburghs 3 sewer dumps. Those rivers really just dont do it for me.
    Maybe i could just hold out and try some hard water fishing for the first time. I would have to go as a rider, so to speak. I have no ice gear at all.

    After further investigation it seems that those fish had egg sac mesh lodged in there anus preventing passage of fecal matter. The basic chemicals(Iodine from shrimp) in the Powerbait has a chemical reaction with the Muriatic acid(used in egg curing) creating a thick sticky mass. If Phosphorus levels are above the lake Erie basin standard of 1 mg per Liter it will effectivly combine with the Iodine, Muriatic acid "sludge" mixture and begins to somewhat harden. Here is where the trouble starts if the mesh from the eggsac is lodged in the anus of the fish and this sludge passes through the mesh it will harden like epoxy once it makes contact with cold oxygenated water. Since the material was in an Aerobic environment it remained "pliable" exposing the material to the oxygen rich environment is like hitting epoxy with ultraviolet light. Now the fish has a plug. Shortly thereafter Septicemia runs rampant in the blood stream and attacks the gills which is the ultimate demise of the fish. At 16 mile it is a perfectt storm,
    Phosphorus from the Plant, Powerbait and egg sack chuckers....So you ask"how does mesh get caught in their anus??? Well it's simple...there azzes pucker from all fishing pressure. Thanks for taking the time to read this Horsesh1t...at least you were entertained. Just some good ole classic Anad.

    your science is wrong.  anaerobic environments lack oxygen, the water would be an aerobic environment... so after the material left the anaerobic environment in which it was "pliable" and was introduced into the oxygen rich environment it became hardened into a plug.

    hope this helps.
