Sad Loss

We lost one of our Home Town Heroes

Local Airman Bryan Bell was killed Thursday afternoon in Afghanistan.

He also had served at one of our Local Fire Departments

May he rest in peace and rise in glory. +

May we remember and pray for his family.

As an American, I say thank you to all our service men and women and to all their families. Bryan's sacrifice is a reminder of the cost of freedom.

Found this on a website not long ago.

    Prayer for Fallen Soldiers

Dear Lord Jesus and Mary, Mother of God,
Hold all these brave souls in the palm of your hand, comfort them and their families.

Send angels of protection, love, and comfort to all the service men and women still at war,
bring them home safely and comfort their families.

We ask all our prayers in Jesus' name. Amen.

My thoughts and prayers are with Bryan and his family. He will never be forgotten.

Bryan was the third fine young man from Harborcreek to become a casualty. He was a junior volunteer then a senior volunteer at Faifield Hose Co. down the street from me. RIP
