Making the trip

Happy New Year everyone.

Might be making the trip up tomorrow to drown a few flys. Looking for info on the west side trib conditions, considering the snow and the melt off with the warmer weather today and tomorrow. Also, Not looking for specific spots but general areas in the upper areas of elk and walnut to start loooking for fish. Never fished the upper areas before. Any fish at the Mckean hole? Just a starting point please. I have a good pair of wading boots that need some work. Thanks for all your help.

    I was there last week and I can confirm that,there are some in the deep water but not many.I believe they are dropping back after spawning and few fresh fish are coming in.

    Was there yesterday, Can confirm. Fish are few, and far between.
