Ice on Cranberry Glade

I wanna try to take my boat out tomorrow and play with my new gear. Is the lake still open, or did it ice up? Thanks

flyingmoles said on the previous thread about conditions in sw pa. that he has no ice 7 miles from Cranberry on his pond.  If your driving very far I'd be leary as it was pretty cold up here for a couple of days.  He said his place is at a lower elavation and that might make a difference.  If your intent on taking a boat out how about Greenlick or someplace lower?  Odds of open water should be better down off the mountain.

On my way up to High Point yesterday I passed a couple of ponds on the Amish farmers land.  There were 2 ponds and one flowed into the other about 30 feet below the first one.  The top one was froze solid and the bottom one was completely open.

At least parts of Quemahoning will be open, too...
