There was nothing I saw as of last week from up around Brothers Grimm. I think they are due to stock it in Feb

Really??? You have just joined the "do not know Jack, but think I do" club. Yes, there are still fish in the creek. Yes there are a lot of fish still in the creek and they have spread out, making the fishing actually pretty decent. The only thing I would still suggest is to wear a bit of visible orange. Deer season is still in along much of the creek and there is no sense taking an unnecessary chance.

Really??? I'm just telling you what I saw, no fish and no one fishing, but we only walked for about 3/4 of a mile downstream from the lot by Brothers Grimm and left early because of it. Where is a better spot on the creek or was I on top of fish that weren't biting that I couldn't see?

sometimes the smart-****ery on here is a lil overboard and I even wear my concussion proof helmet when i check the forums.

If I agreed with you we’d both be wrong.

Live goldfish work well for walleyes at the mouth of Montour Creek.

Ya that's pretty illegal so dont get caught!

FYI in PA, It is unlawful to use or possess goldfish, comets, koi and common carp as baitfish while fishing.

Unless the smartassery is in effect, then I dont want people reading that goldfish work and then go get busted. people come here for info

WalMart has a great bait selection in the pet department. The goldfish with the googley eyes work best.

make sure you name them first... a emotional connection with your bait allows for greater feeling of satisfaction

extra tip... if you tell the cashier they are for bait you get 10% off

When you're at WalMart, get yourself a box of pinky mice. Make sure you name them, too. Suspend them about half way down in the water column below a float. Make sure they are really struggling. If the walleyes aren't hitting the goldfish, they should be on the pinky mice bite. Glad we could help, Jeff.

Oh, I'm deadly serious. Goldfish are fantastic bait for walleye. Hanging an air freshener from your rearview mirror is illegal, too. I'm more concerned with catching fish.

Why are you guys fishing near these gravity pockets that swirl spacetime?

I heard that they scare the fish.
