12/30 report

WOW, what a day! Did not hit the launch in altmar till just after 8. With knowbody fishing just below the bridge we let the plugs go didnt go 20 strokes on the oars and right front rod folds, drop anchor I grab the right rear rod and clear it go to grab the left front rod and it cracks to, double header 5 minutes into the day. The fish I got is much bigger so net his I hand him my rod release his fish and watch a great 5 minute battle with a 12 pounder to the boat. Drift pass the 6 boats above the schoolhouse a few more in the wire and clear sailing the rest of the way. Hit another above muscrat then dead water till the tail of the mud hole. Took two out of the fridge and broke the last two off, my bad I never retied after a few of the fish, one rod cracked so hard at the tail of the can it broke the line on the hit! Went 6 for 8 only saw one other person fight a fish, boat and foot traffic was heavy with the majority in and above the schoolhouse. Water is staying up with rain coming should stay up thru the weekend.

First off - nice report - glad to hear you found feesshh.

I a;ways wondered how paying clinets f;t when thier guides parked the boats in crowded positiyions as you described,, almost as bad as collecting an unemployjmemt check at the unemploymeyt hole just below the Rte 52 bridge..

neerthheless, I hate the crwods and have drinikn Jack & 7's for 9.5 hrsx today.
My faorite bartender in the whole wor;ls got a General Grant Tip - and i fins myself at home - with no DUI - pummelled like a nitwit tyoinfg werds on Al Gore'sinterweb.
