Sun/Mon Pics

There are definitely steel in the creeks yet, and some pretty fresh ones at that.  Went out Sun/Mon, it was snowing pretty good when I started out Sun morning.  For catching I had my worst and best day of the season in two consecutive days.  Found some beautiful scenery and caught allot of fish.  Here are some pics that I took this time:

Nice pics its so wierd that I fished Sunday and didn't have nearly the amount of snow on the ground or around me. Its funny how a few miles can make a big difference.

Yeah a few miles can definitely make a big difference in both weather and fish.  A couple miles before Edinboro, on Sunday morning, I was thinking to myself it's going to be a pretty mild day.  Not more than a few minutes later, both lanes on 79 were completely snow covered and I was kicking the truck into 4 wheel, just to make it to my spot after getting off at McKean.

Sunday I fished a stretch all day and didn't see anything or have a single hookup, right before dark caught 2 out of the last hole I was going to fish and got the skunk off my back.  Monday I started where I caught the 2 right before dark the night before and worked downstream from there, caught lots of fish all day long and saw quite a few also.

When this latest high water event passes who knows where they will be?They are spread out and as you say many areas are devoid of fish, then a few riffles down and up there are lots of fish.
I'll be searching next week :)
