browns

Caught a few today and froze my arse off. I was the only guy fishing mammoth today, landed some skinny browns on berkley trout worms, egg sacs, and one on a lil spoon. Very nice day on the water.. .

Thanks, the last one there, the biggest, barely fought at all. hardly even got the float down. Got him to within 10ft of shore, on slack line, before he realized he was hooked. P.s. my new 7'6" ul bass pro micro lite performed beautifully paired w a sz 10 quantum array and 3lb nanofil line.

Gander mtn. The new nanofil line is super smooth if not slightly overrated in strength(compared to 4lb braid, which feels like 6 or 8 lb sometimes) .

Thanks, I did a search and watched avideo on it after I replied.
I take if for live bait a flouro leader woud be required ? It looked pretty visable on the video. I use them with the superlines, so it's no biggie. Just wondering. Thanks...

Yes, it is visibly white. But for what its worth the the fish w the spoon in its mouth was caught w no leader. They also rec. a double albright knot for line to leader connection, its not too hard to tie.
