This past wknd and season in general

I had posted a report on the reports page and as usual as expected. So I bring it over here cuz I got responses to my report on the report page.Fished two wknds ago on mid Elk.Crushed them in clear conditions after a small rain event several days prior.7 landed Sat.&5 on Sunday. All where fresh except for 1.Many hookups. My father was up for the first day of deer wknd for a fewdays with only a few hookups after some rains. The last week of October my bro father and friend went to 20 mile and slayed them for 3 days.Me and pops where up this wknd 3rd and 4th.We covered many miles of water and talked to the few anglers that where out.East and West side.A few old moldy fish.Thats it!The mouths of Elk,20,and Walnut are wide open and after all the recent rains that fell,no run of fresh fish!I have been fishing Erie tribs for quite some time now and do use polarized glasses and use stealth approaches etc.Aint my first rodeo kids. This years run has been way off of my charts as we record our seasons.Just hope we get a late run or a decent spring run.Fire Away !

I'm just sayin with all the recent amount of rain Erie received the mouths of Elk and 20 mile where wide open as of today. If the fish where in the lake and where to run they could. The mouth of Elk And 20 where 5 ft deep to the lake! And no fish!I mean maybe 1 or 2!That's it.IMHO creeks should be loaded with fresh fish.Yesterday at the nutt couldn't even see a fish from the Marina up to the bridge. It just don't make sense.Goes to prove every season is different from the next.Maybe and hopefully we get another run.Fish on my fellow steelheaders!

I watched steelhead blow right through the lower section of Walnut after a recent rain and not stop in the section you mentioned.  Steelhead have been known to run miles up stream in one night after waiting for the right water conditions.  You can't judge an entire stream on the lower section.  Yes the numbers are down but the run isn't over and there are fish to be caught if you put the time and effort in...

I think they have those in West Virginia! A son has a baby with his mother and the son is now the babies "Bro Father"

I knew that, but didn't want to offend any of the WV faithful.
