    This is a pretty crazy idea and I am not sure how well it would work. Sea run vs. lake run salmon/steelhead would be alot less controlled.

    Does that mean they'd be atlantics. Also what happens if they breed with stripers then what would they have. Striped salmon??

    very low survivability rates that far south, even for pacific fishes, remember they get colder water the whole way along
    up-welling off the coast and running down from snow melt on those mts.
    between the garbage and the low DO, they wouldn't have much of a chance

    the upper deleware systems (where the fish would spawn and spend year 1) is very clean and prime habitat
    they would be through the nasty part in 2 or 3 days on the way in or out
     
    i don't think this will ever happen/establish itself

    It would be more natural than what we have here in Erie thats for sure.
