first deer

is it normal for the grandfather to jump up and down and act like a lunatic in the woods when their 13 yr old grandson not only shoots their first deer, but a big 6 pt to boot. swear to god i was more excited than he was.

Nice... Sure it ok and encouraged. I think I cried when my daughter won her first fishing derby... Now she's a 3x defending champ, my little won one too. it's a great feeeling seeing them get excited, I get almost just as. Thats what it's about ! Passing it on.... Good job, now go get him a doe.............
