Salmon River, Pulaski, NY. - Ye-Haa!- Steel!

We are finding (as usual) Steelhead top to bottom.
Most are in the transitional lies, moving up and holding here and there. (Current water temp. ) - (But, water temp. dropping) - (2 to 6 feet of rippled water and or behind current breaks, as usual.) - Some moveing into the Winter spots.
-
With the current water temp. dropping, some are moveing into there normal Winter spots.
-
So presently, you have fish top to bottom, 50% moving - transtionally, some holding- Winter spots, and also many Browns on the gravel as well as some fresh! - Cohoes!!
-
Great time to be fishing!!
-
In my last few trips, we have hit 8 to 16 steelhead in a single morning! _ Ye-Haa!
1 - 2 anglers. Mostly 1 angler on a hot spot. Incredible - Wading!!! - Fly.
-
Some anglers and guides doing better or less. BUT, Everyone is haveing fun and hitting some!!
-
Fishing you all the best!
And thanking you all for spending your fishing $ here!
-
Best Fish's,
