Sewer Plant Parking

Can someone PM me directions to the Sewer Plant parking spot.  Understand I can park there and work my way to the Legion Hole.  Is that correct?

Take rt 20 east/ west to rt 18/ rice ave. In girard turn north by country fair. Take 1st left onto lake street drive until u see stop sign. There is a left prior to stop sign, takes u to girard boro park. As u go down hill drive past pond on left keep straight to sewer plant parking. Head upstream to legion

If I park at the sewer plant should I fish up to the Legion hole or walk up and start there first.  Never been there so I do not know the area.

There's also parking basically right at the Legion Hole if you're just looking to fish right there.

I'm not sure what you're thinking is in asking, or what having never been there before has to do with it. You cover the same water whether you fish up & walk back. As you do if you walk up & fish back. Personally ( since fish tend to face upstream ), I prefer to start low & fish up. Then again, If I make the trip, I'm there to fish. So I would most often fish up, and then fish down. Unless I was in a situation where there were two vehicles. Then Park one at the Legion, then the other at the sewer plant & fish up.

I prefer the same thing when trout fishing, especially since the disturbed water flows down through what you have already fished.

However on the major tribs I'm usually mainly swinging minnows and casting from standing above fish, so for steelhead I definitely prefer to start high and fish down stream, so that I don't have to walk past the fish to swing my offering down in front of them.  Kicking up muddy water usually isn't nearly as much of a problem in the larger shale bottom tributaries either.
