Steel from Glen and Bob"s old stomping grounds

Fished the Little Manistee River and got into some great Steelies, Big male here

Heres a great hen


Got into some Coho as well and it was a great day on the river.

    Very nice pics and fish Bruce. River looks a bit low. Did you try the big river at all? Brings back fond memories of our trips up there years ago.

    Those wild steelies from the Little M make our PA muts seem like panfish in both fight and challenge.  Congrats.

    Yes the Manistee Steel are a strong fighting fish but I probably fish PA as much. I live in the Detroit area and it takes 4 Hrs. to get to the Little Man. or 4 1/2 to get to Girad, lets face it, if they swim and you can catch them, all fish are great to hook and land
