Ohio River Reports W Pics!

I,ve seen several boats fishing the down stream side of Racoon creek in the ohio river the last week or so I'm guessing there spanking the eyes and saugers.I did that for years but pretty much gave up river fishing,I've caught thousands of eyes and saugers from Leetsdale to the Mongomery damm from the 80's and never ate a one.I remember the hay days at the Montgomery damm of 75 fish plus a day and alot of real hogs 7-8 lbs.then there was a benzen spill in Pittsburg that near killed all the eyes in the river.

there is no reason to drive to erie. the river bite is on fire... i have no qualms about slamming shenango "steelhead" without needing to throw elbows. ahah
