Canonsburgh lake outflow closing to fishing

I was down at canonsburgh earlier, and was fishing the outflow . Noticed a worker there, and he said that they were going to be doing repairs of the dam (finally), and that fishing will not be permitted beneith the dam for 9 months. Just thought I'd inform whoever.

    the whole thing needs to come down.  the lake is a ****hole, the stream at the outflow is a bigger ****hole. all that silt up against the dam in the lake is a disaster waiting to happen

    Where are all the HS kids going to smoke pot now? How many teen mothers has that parking lot turned out?

    You guys hate, but its a fun place to catch carp on ultralight, also has a few nice bass swimming around

    There are some bruiser bluegill beneith the dam. Caught two fat 10 inchers and a dozen 9 inchers in obtober.
