LOST FLY ROD

I was forever loosing golf clubs until my wife suggested I wrap a return mail label (with my phone number) around the handle and then wrap a covering of tape. I now do this with all my fishing rods and hope that when I leave one on the roof of my car, the guy who finds it will be honest enough to return it. Certainly he will know who it belongs to. I also offer a reward to cover my mistakes. Just a thought for fellow seniors and not so senior.

    Label for golf clubs is really just redundant. An ahole will keep the club. A decent person will turn it in at the clubhouse. A couple of weeks ago left my wedge on the fringe of a green. Went back next day, and been checking for it, but I guess an ahole picked it up.

    Probably same thing for rods, flyboxes. I still mark my flyboxes with permanent marker, but realistically, would not have much hope that it would be returned if I lost one.

    A good tip to not lose a golf club (wedge, 7 iron etc.) around the green
    is to place the club you are not using beside or across the flag stick
    after pulling it (flag pole) from the hole.

    changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes....nothing remains quite the same

    Cartpath only golf, Spoon. Not a rarity when that happens. I joined Whispering Woods last year, not really walkable. I never had that problem at Lawrence Park. There we walked all the time.
