thursday evening

im coming up thursday to try and catch some steelhead have been up twice so far this year and not even had a hit yet dont know what im doing wrong i cant wade or walk to far had my legs messed up a few years ago from a work accident so only fish the rocks at elk and the wall at walnut and only go up at night so i can avoid the crowds any ideas on what to try so i can get a hit in these areas i know ill get alot of smart a-- answers but i dont mind that you have to take the good with the bad any ideas will help

    Just a suggestion if you cant walk to far. Fish the walnut marina....its going to be open for anglers for the rest of the season. Easy access there and always some fish to be had. I dont like the frog water in there but casting spoons may get you a few chasers. If your going to use bait then minnows and egg sacks/skein will most likely produce a few bites. Good luck.

    Bounce a black jig under a lighted float off the rocks.

    You can also tip the above mentioned jigs with a wax worm if you are so inclined.

    Place onto our line either one Gulp Goby Magic on a 1/4oz jighead or a Pink or white trout worm onto a hook.
    Then, just add water. Wait for it. Wait for it. Set the hook. Reel in fish.
