Looking for folks....

Hello all!
 
I realize this is not the best ettiquette in the world but here goes!
 
I will be coming up to fish the Elk this wknd. To make a long story short, my buddy backed out due to the conditions and I will be fishing solo. I cannot reschedule the trip as I am booked until late January. I am looking for some fellow anglers to share company with as I have a heart condition and my wife does not want me on the stream alone. Any help would be great. I do fly fish but am not an elitist! I welcome all anglers so long as they are ethical.....

    I probably won't be out this weekend.  But knowing the kinda folks on this site, someone will respond.  Tough going though with low water and the middle of the rut.

    I have a gun show to do this weekend or I'd beat some water with you


    is the drive the greatest concern or while on the creeks??
    if on the creeks, stay in the popular spots and there will be lots of company.
    tell your creek neighbor.... "hey duud,  If i fall out, my nitro pills are here" 

    seriously


    The other alternative  is to hire a guide if you haven't got any private messages   yet

    This is more a matter of her sanity than mine. I'm driving up from the eastern WV panhandle with her and 10 yr old son in tow. I know I'll be fine but she worries.....

    As I said though, if anyone would like to hook up please pm me....

    Excellent Weekend to come up weather should be fair and a great event on Saturday with a wealth of info on steelhead. I would check this Expo out and I would venture you can find what your looking for here.

    It would be great if someone could step up to share the water, and a conversation with you, but if not. As was pointed out, this is NOT remote fishing. On a november weekend, there will ALWAYS be someone nearby if you get into trouble.
