    Where'd that come from?

    Fred, Mike, Connie, Jason.
Its not like this is the first time this has happened.
Times change and so does the staff just like everywhere else.
The price has risen. The price of gas less than a third of what it is now.
The price of everything has risen.
Now I go there 2-3 times a year rather than 10. I don't like it but I'm not about to whine about it.
They have changed the rules along the way.
Every one of them in an attempt to help promote a healthy fishery.
    Equipment regulation?
The only thing they ever did was enforce the regulations of the state.
Never made any rules regarding what kind of tackle could be used.

Sorry bout the rant but it irks me when people pull stuff outta the air that has no basis in reality about a private business.

PROBABLY BUT AFTER ALL THESE YEARS OF HEARING STUFF LIKE THAT IT BUGS CRAP OUTTA ME.
That is also why I apologized for my outburst.
Didn't remove it mind you but did apologize.

Also back to work so I'm a tired, sore, cranky guy with no pospect for fishing in the near future.
Might of had something to do with it.

First off, I would like to offer my congratulation/condolence for your return to work.
Obobo needs your tax dollars to feed the OWS nitwits.

Secondly, DSR has established regulations that exceed those of NYDEC,

    such as:

1)requiring a leader break, (tackle related),
    2)C&R rules on Steelhead.

    p.s. promote a healthy fishery??

puhleeeeezeeee......don't try to insult anyone's intelligence by playing the Born Free background music as you paint a beautiful picture of a $$making SCAM based on publicly-stocked fish. The Barclays give back less than those rippoff charity organizations that keep 95 cents of every dollar donated (agricultural property tax exemptions included).

    just clarifying the facts WB.

So Drake what you're saying is a rule keeping the mono monsters to a fraction of what they are upriver isn't good for the river,ie. the fishery?

All the trout that aren't killed down there don't improve the fishery upriver?
It would be better if they were killed before they got to you at the eye. [ijust kidding bout the eyei]
Even though there are people that stopped going there (supporting that money making $cam) because of that rule.

WB - I was simply clarifying & confirming that DSR does in fact impose regulations > NYDEC.

Perhaps I should have left off the part about Barclay,Inc. being a bunch of scumsucking leaches, but I never pass up the chance to express my opinion about those scumsucking leaches...

Glad you're online and quick on the uptake tonight.
Don't think anyone said they never imposed stricter rules than the state (hee hee hee ) enforces.
Just that they all were for the betterment of the resource.

You know the old sayings about opinions, right?

By the way I served you up a fast ball down the middle belt high the other night and not a chirp.
You know the only way to catch fish is to line them.

my bad WB - besides Little League WS, I pay no attention to baseball - rather watch paint dry -vs- an overpaid slug scratch himself while the commentator talks about some idiotic trivia from 1947.

almost as silly as taking pictures of flies in mudsharks mouths in a vain attempt to prove they bite...

Or-my favorite aphorism- You can give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day; charge a man to fish and he'll be in debt for a lifetime.

Braaaand new drift boat and I'm looking to hook into some good fish. Whats been going on up there lately? I'm reading up on these post's but not seeing the threat. what say you?
