BBD

At 5:45 tonight I had 5 doe in front of me and heard grunting coming closer. At 47 yds his head cleared some brush and I immediately knew he was a shooter. Not wanting to keep glassing his rack to intensify the already uncontrollable shaking, I put down the binos and waited, and waited. Finally the does under my stand were too much for him to take and he started grunting, nose to the ground trying to catch their scent and moved my direction. At 22 yds I drew and shot. He piled up after 30 yards.
I thought this was a buck we had trail cam pics of, but turns out his bro is still roaming the woods. Hopefully my bro or dad can put their tag on him. Take a look at the similarities in their rack's. Twins??? Most likedly the same father, same genes. Close to 200 pics of bucks on this property and not one of this 13 point I shot.

Can't see the pic at work but I suspect it is a good un.  Congrats.  I know of several hogs that fell last night.  I suspect Friday evening and Saturday are gonna be good with the cold temps.
