    lee, just got an update from my magic phone:

    HT says to let you know he has no password to log in... and hes also happy to be computer free for a few days... he'll be back to chat on sunday night...

    Drove home from Salmon Country yesterday afternoon thru snow and rain,was a bit tiring after a couple days of fishing.Met HT Monday morning and played with a few 'till Thurs morning,HT will give a full report when he gets to a puter.

    HT has a few pictures and a better memory than me as he's much younger than I,so I'll let him do the story of our fishing.
    Now I have to shop for the wife as we are getting 3 to 6 inches tomorrow and I'm just going to sit and watch football and recover:)

    Well the company was as good as it gets and a privilege to be a part of.. Jack & Charlie are outstanding anglers and even better people.. The Fishing was really fantastic..
    However yesterday at 8:30 while all 3 of us started to get into the Chrome big time , double digits, disaster struck me.. I received a phone call that the company I am union president of was laying off 36 workers effective immediately.. My son was also part of the lay off.. It shot my day to hell, I came home at 12:30 am today (nite) and just got home from meetings since 6:30 am..
    I will follow up on the fishing Sunday as I'm stressed out and more meetings tomorrow..
    Believe me it was a great time fishing up until that point..

    Scratch the 3 to 6 inches,now it's 8 to 12 inches.Lost power for about a hour earlier and I'm filling buckets and jugs with water for toilet and drinking along with digging out hurricane lamps,etc. preparing for the worst.Trees with leaves are breaking down and taking power with them all over area.I have to look at calendar again as it looks like January not October!Where is Al Gore with his global warming now?

    Pa Fisher,

    Global Warming describes the trend in temperature. The result is all the radical weather we've been seeing.

    The folks around Binghamton and in Schoharie, and up along the Ausable River are seeing things differently lately.

    Enjoy your snow, as sure as daybreaks daily, ours will be here yet again soon, even if we don't see it this weekend.

    HT, this ball and chain is wearin' me down....Nice fish, good luck with the goons!

    Here's another one that's fresh as fresh can be. I love when the flash reflects back like a mirror from their sides. I was lucky to hang around  with the "Riva Masters"  for a couple hours. They left and gave me a chance to catch a few.

    Nice fish guys and happy late birthday charlie ;).... its great to see such fresh steel so high up.... im sure they were hungry.... im surprised that slam was milking on you charlie; Ito my knowledge they started spawning in february; again, nice fish guys...

    Sorry but my mind has been scrambled since 8:30 Thurs.. Not getting things together yet as you can see my log in'-s are 8pm... Is it FRIDAY yet ??
    Forgive me if I miss a few posts in between but who said anything about getting them up high ? Think all the vets been to dsr too.. lol..
    Fish thought the river or go sit in a tree stand.. Great time of the year for any outdoors person..
