Well Dano It didnt dry up , in fact , I had a great day streamside catching steelies from 7am till 2 pm. It did slow down some when the sun drew overhead. The fish were a bit more spooked but still caught fish the whole time I was there.

You know how it is on the Easide. after that the only way to catch them is to drift #12 eggs into their mouths Size 18 hooks and single eggs worked real well later in the day.

I remember not so long ago having route 5 to the lake to myself on weekdays. Nice water and full of fish. I was there at daylight last monday and there were 21 vehicles in the parking lot. Sweet.
My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

Thats not possible anymore even on the private sections.

Looked like the circus was in town..

I wasn't talking about you. I was pointing out the reason why it happens and sympathizing with your frustration. Now go play in your sandbox, little boy.

you guys are missing the point - when pin fishing one does not necessarily have to enter the private water to fish it. A good pinner can float through a 500 yard stretch of open water and reel em back up into the public water. Oh the advantages , sorry guys the secret is out !

I went into that "crowded section" by the mouth a few weeks ago for a little bit, caught fish in front of everyone that wasn't.....for some reason everyone wanted to fish around me after that so I left. It was fun.

Funny how that happens...folks think the only fish in the system are in front of you...they don't realize they couldn't catch the clap from...we'll, you fill in the blank
