Conrail Tubes

Is it true that the Conrail Tubes parking access, owned by the nursery, has been lost to fisherman?

If true, is it safe to walk through the tunnel, from upstream, to access this water?

    Just park along the road and walk in. Girard Township has no parking restriction on the road. I've heard there are no parking signs on the road, but they were not put there by the Township and not enforcable.

    Alot of theft and vandaism in that lot. They locals would ride the tracks in on quads and smash and grab unsuspecting fisherman..

    as i walking from the parking lot to the hole....'bout a 1/3 mile walk at one spot  and probably over  a mile at the other, i was thinking how nice it would be if some kid on a 4-wheeler would shuttle me to and from
