Need Help Finding a Good Weather forcast in Erie, That Gives Local Rainfall Amounts

I know there are plenty of weather sites on the fisherie site I just don't understand the rainfall amounts  EXP .21 inch is that 2/10?  Also where can I find the stream flow gauges and what are considered the fishable and unfishable flows.

I swear I must be growing stupider as I get older.  Nah just to many things running around in my brain, I've have been scattered as hell lately.

Thank you for your Help!

Good fishing to all of ya!

    I usually use this site for the radar.
    http://www.wjactv.com/interactive-radar/index.html

    This will give you updates on the amount of rain received, the recording station is at the Erie Airport.

    no, it's 21/100 of an inch.  0.20 would be 2/10 of an inch.

    I've found the easiest and best live, looping radar is intellicast.com. You can pan and zoom on a particular area, and see what's happening at the moment, and where weather is headed.

    I think accuweather.com is a bit over zealous on most of their forecasted precipitation totals, and weather.com usually predicts less precip than actually falls. So you're usually safe guessing somewhere in the middle of the two.

    Intelicast.com for live radar, although the radar is about 20 minutes behind imho. I can go to:

    http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?rid=cle&product=N0R&overlay=11101111&loop=no

    and it seems spot on to the weather I'm getting here in Lake City.

    Well, the rain we got yesterday did nothing but give a very slight tint to the deeper holes on Elk, much to my surprise. It rained steadily for quite a while near the lake, maybe not much, further south. Very tough fishing. There were 8 guys fishing for two 3 hours, saw 2 landed.

    // rainfall amounts //

    Try this National Weather Service site that presents accumulated precipitation on a daily, weekly, monthly, etc. basis. Click on the state of Pennsylvania and turn on "counties." This should give you the specific info you need on a timely basis.

    Precipitation is measured at the airport. I don't find it to be a meaningful measure to judge creek conditions. Check the gauges. Or ask a local, or PR.

    And yes, .21 is very close to 2/10.
