weather
A board member today pmed me today asking about weather/future conditions. I figured id take it to the board... The ten day forecast is forecasting showers for many days to come; but NO; I don't think that they will have any potential to blow out the river as the unmentioned board member asked... for surrounding tribs it may be enough to raise their levels slightly which will be enough to bring the everwaiting fish to run them.... This Saturday is predicting a SW wind at 25 mph.... that's big man... high winds are predicted for many days following Saturday as well... i hope to getthe a glance at the lake on saturday as it may look like the ocean. This coupled with the colder intermittent rain should be perfect ingredients for some great fishing for the next 1-2weeks. Good luck with your trip

I like the off topic Pa board get a little rough and tumble at times. Made a mod cry and quit over there and a looooong time member-troll-troll killer get banned. Glad that kinda stuff doesn't happen here.

Back to weather. 25-30% of the leaves have fallen. While I only hung a couple, even while swinging, if the predicted winds on sat really hit(50-60 mph gusts)yhet will change in a hurry.

100 miles west right on the lake. The leaf fall is a week-ten days ahead of Pulaski area. The wind, like Sam Colt, will make us all even.

Even here in north jersey we have someleaves down already.... I have a feeling regardless of a possible peak leaf hatch; after this wind and weather comes through there will probably be more fish than leaves in the river... Tight lines; of anyone is up this weekend feel free to stop by ... Fish on

I guess dredging with cannonballs (2 #5's for instance) one "hooks" more fish sulking on the bottom than leaves throughout the water column then?

Instead of being such a prick; why don't you just muster up the balls to fish with me instead of being a poosy azz behind the computer screen... seriously; the offer still stands from a while back...
