lures

going up to the river oct.29 does any know if you can use floating lure with a triple hook or do i need to put a single hook on. and can you use live or salted minnows

    I know for sure after nov. 1st you can use treble on a floating lure...

    Not sure about regs on minnows; yes you can use them; but I know there are specific regs regarding where/when they were harvested and from... definitely look in to it; I do believe you have to carry a receipt of when and where you bought the minnows from... hopefully someone else will chime in on this one... good luck...

    I'd suggest reviewing it for the areas you intend to fish such as the Great Lakes. There are various regulations that may apply to different types of fishing methods.

    For the more simple answer:
    No you can not use a treble on a floating lures until Nov-1.
    Yes you can use minnows, salted or live with certified receipt..
