Giant school

Not sure if it is helpful to boat fishermen but there is a giant school of something a mile or so west of shades beach just off shore. I could hear the gulls when I was getting in my car for work, there has to be close to 1000 of them. Not sure what schools in the lake, shiners or smolt? The black spot in the water was over 100 yards across. Hope it is useful to someone. If it was steelhead, I should have skipped work and launched the kayak...

    It would take you longer than 10 minutes to drive there with your Kayak....

    Not worth it.

    If I rode my kayak off the bluffs in my yard, I would be fishing in well under 10min or sleeping with the fishes...
