decent place to stay

Hello everyone,  Haven"t been up to the SR in over a year due to family issues.  I'm actually trying to get up there the end of Oct for a few days, maybe catch some steelies or any fish for that matter.  anyone recommend a decent place to stay?  I checked with Super8 and the price went way out of my range, I'm comming up alone so I'm trying to keep expenses minimal.

Haven't needed a room in the last 16yrs--lol--back in the day the Double Eagle was real nice--1880 House(never heard a negative thing about)--the last several years my brother and crew have been staying at the Port Lodge on rt3--does the job

May be tough to get a room this time of year in pulaski.   Last someone told me Places up there were 120 to 150 a night.   I live 15 minutes away so really do not know.   If you are willing to drive a bit there is a Comfort inn in brewerton, it's about 1/2 hour, I checked on line and it said they are 69 a night and in my town Parish there is the Parish Motel  15 minutes away or so, but it is very far from a a 4 star hotel.

I usually stay at the days inn in Oswego. It's right before you get into town plenty of restaurants around, about a 25 min ride to pulaski, ran me about 65 dollars a night with tax. Plus continental breakfast starting at 4 am.
