Erie area deer hunting

My father and I purchased a camp near Girrard a few years ago. We always spend the weekend of Thanksgiving fishing the tribs. I was thinking it would be cool for us to go hunting the first day of rifle up there. I have noticed that most land isn't posted. Is the deer hunting good in the area ? Quality bucks ? Where do we start as far as finding a decent farm or land to hunt ? Thanks guys !
