Big Bucks

I know that we have a hunting discussion board...but what i was wondering is how everyone had done this deer season...

i got rained out...plus the fog was horrible...but managed to see 4 tails...

tuesday i shot a nice doe...and saw a nice buck but couldnt get a shot...

how has everyone else done?

good luck to everyone...

My 3 sons have their buck tags filled. Timmy took a doe during archery during the youth hunt & my youngest son, Greg took a doe in the youth hunt also. The bucks they shot this week near the house have been fightin purdy good. Fresh scars on their faces & the antlers have been in a workout. Good sized deer this year in our neighborhood with some VERY GOOD bucks still out there.

For me it will prob. be another year of watchin em, unless I'm in one of my moods. Hope to get a shot at a yote purdy soon. The antlers around here are droppin/shed very early for this area. Most years I'll see some sportin a full rack into March. My youngest found a nice shed today also.

I got a nice 8 point at 9am Monday morning.  The weather was HORRIBLE as we all know.  I was planning on quitting at noon, but then he walked up through the fog and rain.  He'll be on my wall in a couple months

Nothing yet, but seein deer.  Saw two bucks, one hog on the first day, no shot.  The other was a 4pt.  Have seen about 20 so far for the season.  Didn't hunt the 4th day, and thats the day both buddies of mine shot nice 8ptrs.  Good luck tomorrow fellas.

Missed one on opening day.  It was brutal.  I didn't see many deer all season.
