my camo is high-end. does that stil make me white trash? in my eyes, it makes me dry and warm. i have been thinking of another option. rather than going naked, i may be downright obnoxious when i do wear camo, thus rendering me white trash. at 6'5", 280 pounds and with a volatile temper, i do encourage stream-side comments on my apparel.

I don't care what you are wearing Big Boy. You sound kinda cute ,but it is true "clothes make the man." No one wears a nicer hat than me. "Stylin" on the creek is where it's at.

Triple shredded mulch eh? I prefer rubberized brown mulch. It lasts longer and smells better.

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Spokane County sheriff's deputies have arrested a 54-year-old man after he was spotted fishing naked Sunday on West Medical Lake.
A father fishing with his two young sons complained after he spotted 54-year-old Dean H. Meginniss fishing completely naked. He said the man stood up in full view of the kids as their boat moved down the lake.
Sheriff's deputies arrived and told the man to put on clothing, and he donned a pair of light-colored shorts and continued fishing.
But deputies also ran a check on his name and discovered Meginniss had an outstanding warrant for stalking. Meginniss was arrested on the warrant, and also for indecent exposure. He was previously convicted for indecent exposure in 2009, making Sunday's arrest a felony

OK guys I appreciate all the responses!  Let me clarify a few things....first, the guy calling me stupid for fishing with spinning tackle is absolutely TRUE...no bullshat....I couldnt have made that up....as for the circus, I fully expected one at Manchester and was pleasantly surprised that at 5am I was the only one there (everyone else was at the CHutes) I hadnt been there in over 10 years, and only went there to see the stream conditions, which were dead low and clear....so I left and went to Elk, Where I usually fish. I fully expected a ton of guys there, but I can fish in a crowd easily!

My name is Bill, Im from Philly and work in the area alot and get a ton of "free" fishing time, I wear an Eagle's hat and catch all kinds of crap from other football teams fans, all in good fun (since I know the Eagles will NEVER win a Superbowl).....I have fished with ShutupandFIsh (remember Paul?  with my kids, etc) and his buddies and think hes a nice guy.I didnt want to start a shatstorm between differing types o fisherman, only wanted to ask about the preponderence of flyfishermen (some of which were obviously cluelessly beating the water) and the apperance of pinners(which I see in the Salmon River obviously lifting/lining fish)....it was a wierd site at least to me, and just wondered if some of these guys knew what they were doing.......

I agree with some of the guys who said that there are some nice guys out there fishing and totally agree!  I have helped many guys out who were fishing 20 pd test, giant trebles, etc and got them fishing jigs, single eggs, etc.I honestly dont care how people fish, just seems that the trendy thing is gettin outta control, and like one guy said it seems like "they dont even know what they dont know"....I have seen a lot of steelies lined by guys who think that they all hit with the outside corner of their mouths........not that I care, I just think they dont know what they are doing,just following someones else's instructions, etc

Hey Bill, hows it going? Many people on here fishing for bites to stir up the pot between the variety of fishermen here. Had I known it was you with sincere thoughts, I probably would have been less brash...lol Anyway, bottom line is that there will always be idiots in every facet of life which give specific groups a bad look or name for the good ones. Beyond our control really, so I don't let it get to me at all while I'm out there fishing....I try to stay positive/focused on the task at hand is all. Hope to fish with you again sometime this year.

Oh by the way...a little tip...Next time leave the Eagles hat at home and wear a Stillers one and guys might be nicer to ya(Or maybe not)...Wait...Camo hat!

Get used to all the BS around here. Some guys think they can school you all day. Thats just how it is. As far as the pinning and fly fishing stuff goes, i think it's all bull. I use a centerpin. I fly fished for 4 years or so and have been pinning for 3. I have found out that center pins out fish any other set up and that's why i am going to keep using it. I could honestly care less what other people think. If you wanna use a fly rod use one, but dont ****h at me for holding my centerpin. I have learned to forget about all of the BS and just fish. Let other guys do what they want and keep your opinions to yourself....just my 2 cents
