Maytag Washer almost free to good home
I have a 24 year old Maytag top-loading washer that works like a charm except it leaks about a pint or less of clean water during the spin cycle. With us, this is a problem because we had it on a linoluem floor next to our carpeted gameroom, but if you have an unfinished basement with a tapered floor leading to a drain I'm sure you could get several years of service out of it. Everything I read on this subject suggests not to try to make this repair myself without experience in this type of repair as it is likely the main seal. It is of course minus the hoses which will go on the machine we replace it with, but it does come with a standard 115V cord. Right now it's sitting in my garage waiting for you to haul it away. I gotta charge you at least a buck (or one cigarette) just to stay in the good graces of the Church. Greensburg area. PM me
