Chumming

What would you river carp experts consider the best thing to chum in some river carp?? I've always used corn....is there anything that u use that might be more effective?

Thanks...

Baiting up carp usually is a corn/grain base for the most part. Simple is better...It's how you go about it and watercraft is how it works, not mindlessy tossing corn in and expecting results especially if they're other anglers fishing for them in that area

No pressure where I'm fishing whatsoever...and I certainly wouldn't over do it with the chum...just lookin' to spark some interest and get them into a back eddie slow moving pool.

I use the sinking fish pellets that you get at feed stores.  Tips them right up..

Left overs, seriously. Should be something that sinks though...
