flow release

Any one hear about when the next release will be?

    when the rain gods decide to take tug hill off of the rain punishment list... probably the only region in most of the north east that hasnt broken rain fall records for the summer...

    ps. the reservoir is still many feet below normal...

    pps... the 335 flow is plenty of flow for the fish; and the water temp is beginning to drop nicely... i dont understand why so many folks are complaining about the flow... they must be forgetting about all of the 285;185;and even 100 cfs flow salmon seasons...

    Dito Dime- can think of lotsa trips where we would have been jumpin for joy with this water. Only hope they can keep it up with no rain.

    IMO 500-750 flows are perfect, but it's not conducive to the Diversion Channel Enthusiasts that like 1200+ neighborhood.

    Exce;;ent water to fish with the fly rod but too little to keep the goonies from locking up at the elbow, like the wedding party walking down the aisle, 3 or 4 abreast an staring at their shoe tops in the water they just pushed the fish out of.

    In 700cfs you have to pick your spots to fly fish from a smaller list, unless your a pure C&Der, but makes the goonies have second thoughts .

    Early before the crowds show up 250-500cfs is the nuts.
    Once the nuts show up pump up the flow at least on fri- mon when the worst of the crowd is there.

    well calling for rain the next day or so but sure not enough to get the res. up enough. who would of thought after last year we'd be looking for water. good ol' mother nature.
