Winter fly fishing

I was just thinking to myself if people fly fish year round. I live in Ohio and if there is no ice or high water would the fish be biting?

    I've had them chase big streamers in Jan and Feb..

    Spring creek can be really good in winter. "Spring creeks" dont get as cold as other creeks. They dont get the major temp swings. I throw tandem nymph rig with a p.t. and a small midge pattern.

    fish tailwaters if you aren't near central or limestone.. it's worth the drive.  Nothing worse than fishing in 20 degree temps and not catching anything all day.

    MMM hotdogs in my belly make me happy guy. My wife says no no kyler, you stop eating you getting bigger you will need new waders
