  Yes it is....My annual fall motherload of wine juice!! WoooooHooooooo!! The house just smells devine. 6 - Red Zinfandels, 3 - Rieslings, 1 - Shiraz, 1 - Valpolicello = 66 gallons!

NICE!!! Best my basement's smelled all year! I've only got the elderberry going so far, (13 gallons) but I'm about to hit it hard I think.... *special thanks to Jokerball & Rookie for the donation of the 17# of elderberries. It's working well.    Where you get your juice Paul? Been thinking about a batch of riesling... need to get a some concord bubbling for mom...

YEah they thought you were talking about the steelhead! LOL The real mother load is still out in the lake. Check out this quote from the most recent east end angler fishing report: "My buddy saw a school on his fish finder on the east side that was over a mile long in 90 fow. No doubt that was steelhead. Let knock on wood for a better than average year for them. The longer the rain holds out, the longer & better the steelhead season will be." That's an interesting opinion about the rain holding out causing a longer & better season. He must be assuming that when a lot of fish come in during Sept. that they don't stay in the creeks and just do their thing and go back to the lake. I can't think of any other reasoning behind that comment, what do you guys think?

MMMMM. We were thinking about getting into the beer making business. We have two bottles of Brandy ready to be bottled. We have elderberry and blackberry. And already did about 15 bottles of strawberry wine.

Right1 They couldn't possibley be Walleye. Nope, no way I have no idea, I don't fish the lake and it wasn't my buddy. So I take it it's common to find a school of walleye that large in 90 fow this time of year then? He's probably just trying to hype everyone up to get them in his shop or something.

i don't anything about the east side patterns . But i think he's full of beans i've always fished early Sept . There's only been a coupe years I haven't put the first fish on the bank in the first week of Sept It's been my observations over the years, rain events and cool temps have very little to do with the runs . They filter in the whole month of Sept regardless ..L.T.A.

About ready to cork strawberry rhubarb and peach ginger meads. Just racked a merlot. Need to empty all carboys for 15 gallons of hard apple cyser next month. SUNF, I'll bring some hard apple/elderberry cyser up this fall. I'll guarantee you'll have a hard time keeping a steady float on the creeks.

I get mine at Luva Bella...go to www.luvabella.com for all their varieties...they have Cali juice in the fall and Chilean in the spring available.
