Black Barrel Swivels

Making up some leaders and have some silver colored barrel swivels, but noticed last year the ones I saw on leaders in the SR were black... any reason for that? Would the silver colored swivels possibly spook the fish?

    I always use #12 black barrel swivels,silver might spook them.To take it a step futher I always use black or dull grey weight,I know that makes a difference.

    I know I hate the shiniebright tin shot.
    Big water or some color in the water and no problemo but low and clear and spooky fish can run away.
