Sept 3 on the river

Fished in town today saw about 2 dozen fish got to fight 4, they won. All ended when that sun burned thru.

Stress is just one hookset away from being gone.

If I had the chance to go back up soon it would be tomorrow. I got new info on my way out from the low end that some decent numbers of fish were on the move thru the meadow. This came from a couple guides who were there. Salmo I couldn't get my wife to stop fishing long enough to run the camera. Have to get one that holds to the rod like a bow\gun cam.

Be up tomorrow PM to do chores and fish a bit for a few days - Reading all the stuff here and  elsewhere bout fish running through and not holding- and bustin off a lot when hooked up=  Sounds more like Hos than sharks.
Lotsa folks may not be able to see the diff tween the  large Hos and a Shark this early.

hey rt, the fish that came in the beginning of last week were slow movers; the recent fish have been fast movers especially today... they were all large kings that i saw; no hoes... but i heard there were a few that busted through a few days ago... i honestly think a nice run is bound to come in any day now... time will tell... i'm thinking wednesday... oh yeah, hope you slam a few...

I had a friend who was in the DSR all morning till mid afternoon.

What he told me Saturday afternoon that he didn't see a bent rod all day, but a few did go past him.
