Presque Isle Lagoons

Coming up to PA from Florida in late September. I have a small 10 ft. boat with trolling motor power. I believe the boat would be too small for Presque Isle bay except in the calmest conditions, but was wondering if it was worth the effort to give the various lagoons a try? I am primarily interested in Largemouth Bass.
Also, anyone know of a launching ramp on French Creek for a small boat, somewhere in the Cambridge Springs area. Thanks.

Any other info on general fishing in the bay this time of year. Never fished it, taking the kids out this weekend to try for some bass or pan fish. Thanks

Bay is pretty weedy...small poppers or bait under a bobber is a good bet. North, East and west peirs are pretty kid friendly. Might check Perry monument to.

If your in a boat...try Marina Lake.
