high pt lake

I hit High point on July 11 and 12th. Monday the 11th it was clear, no wind. I had 6 takers, on shiners,but as soon as they got near the boat they let go. Blue gills on meal worms every cast. Stood up to stretch around 9am and watched a at least a 50" musky cruise under the boat about 5 feet down. Weeds were thick in spots but found several areas of open water, and fished them.
Tues. the 12th was breezy and cool. Had 8 takers ----- got one in the boat---a 25" pickerel.

I like the south access and go to the first cove to the left, just around the stumps............

Was up there the end of June, two pickerel about 21 and 22 inches. 3 perch, lots of pike following. the fish aren't very aggressive in the lake this year it seems.
