Walnut Basin

Just wondering if anyone knows how the fishing has been at the Walnut basin. I have a brother who loves to fish it with the usual bottom baits.

He does not get around the creeks to good so I like to take him there to fish.

Thanks in advance

It was a bit slow earlier in the week before the rain, but I would expect it has picked up some with the higher water.

Perch, if there's one thing I've learned over the years,
    It's NOTHING is constant.

I've  fished days where water conditions were perfect and had a tough bite day.
Like wise, I've fished low gin clear water on blue bird sunny days and crushed them.

I've fished one day and hammered them, then return the next day to the same spot, same conditions and same tactics and had to work for every bite.

What I'm saying is, the only "sure thing" is, there ain't no "sure thing" all-de-time.

if they were biting any thing that was thrown in front of them today, doesn't mean they will tomorrow
