Need a New Boat---Lakes and HP Limits??
Need some help ...Looking to upgrade my fishing craft. Getting older and crawling in and out of my 12 alum. is getting to be a PAIN. Thinking of getting a pontoon boat around 18-20 ft. (Don't want a monster 24'-30') Since I am from southern Allegheny County I would primarily use it on the Mon. But, I would like to try it on some lakes.
What are the HP limits for some of the nicer lakes....Aurthur, Wilhelm, Pymatuming,etc. I believe the Yough Res. is unlimited.
Also anyone who owns a 20' pontoon give me some of your suggestions on what to hang on its****to push it.(9.9--60)
And, if anyone is using a trolling motor on non gas powered lakes what would be the size--- how many pounds of thrust??
