Bass fishing

Was up at my boyscout camp possibly for the last time, turning 18 in september, kind of sucks but i guess its life. Hopefully ill get eagle scout and go up again as a leader. Got to fish for a week in fishing paradise though, so between meals and merit badges i managed to get 6 nice bass and a few large bluegill. Here are three of them.

My brother got 6 and another one that didnt make 12 inches. Only got one picture of him though.

Between me, my brother and my friend we got 16 legal bass and some large bluegill going 8 to 10 inches.

A new scout from our troop ended up catching the biggest fish out of the camp while fishing for bluegill, his smile was priceless

Congratulations boys on your nice fish. That sure is a great place to fish. Good thing it's private.

Well thats why its good, you dont have everyone taking fish out, just proves that catch and release does work

    No not quite
You will have a thousand of those or if you reduce that number you can have better chances at catching hoss daddies

I was wondering the same... my son and I won the fishing derby there a few years ago and placed both times the two years before. If you were there about 4 years ago when the winning total was 35#, that was us...LOL. Fantastic lake, I really loved the fishing derby, my son got his Eagle a few years ago, he's 22 now, no more derbys for us! Every year we talk about getting a day pass and going there again, caught quite a few lunkers back in the trees and by the bridge.
